Service Description

Explore how educators can design inclusive, equitable programming for students who are dually identified as multilingual learners and students with disabilities. Participants will examine key programming considerations, clarify how language and disability services intersect, and strengthen their understanding of effective co-planning, shared instruction, and collaborative assessment. Through practical tools, co-teaching approaches, and data-driven assessment strategies—including curriculum-based measurement—educators will leave better equipped to ensure that neither language development nor special education services are prioritized at the expense of the other, but instead intentionally integrated to support student success.
